“Who Cares?” Food Drive, Week 2
One successful week is in the book for the “Who Cares?” Food Drive. It really was a great week. Day 2 saw a donation of 5lbs of produce and 150lbs of canned goods from one wonderful lady, Barbara. We placed collection boxes in 7 great local businesses and saw them start collection donations.
We do have an event this week for in connection with the “Who Cares?” Food Drive. Tomorrow evening, Tuesday from 5:00pm-7:00pm, we will be having a Cash Mob at Little Pigs at Hudson Corner, 2428 Hudson Rd. Greer.
Doug Rogers and Little Pigs have been a loyal supporter of Another Voice with Eric and Friends and is one of our key partners in the fight against hunger in Greenville. Tomorrow, we want to show this great local, family-owned business how much we appreciate them working with us in making a difference in our community. So be sure to make plans for supper at the Pig tomorrow. If you bring 2 non-perishable food items, your drink will be free.Just in case you needed any more incentive to come out tomorrow, just take a look at that amazing food!
So week 2 is starting off well. Now it is up to us to make it a great week. Don’t forget to drop off non-perishable food items at any of the 8 locations we currently have and if you know of a business that would like to join us, just drop us a line at email@example.com
Let’s keep making a difference in our community in the fight against hunger!
