The “Who Cares?” Food Drive begins!
Seven local businesses around Greenville County have graciously agreed to host collection boxes for everyone who wants to drop off non-perishable food items and we are ever so grateful.
Here are those 7 partners in the fight against hunger in our community:
We’re looking for more drop off locations and will let you know when we get them. If you own a business and would like to host a collection box, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are pleased to announce that Windstream Communications, a major company in downtown Greenville has joined the “Who Cares?” Food Drive and is hosting 4 collection boxes for their employees’ contributions. We are ever so grateful for Windstream’s participation and look forward to other major companies following suit. If you work for a major company, see if they want to participate in the food drive, maybe a little friendly competition between floors, or departments or branches. If you have any questions or to contact us for collection boxes, email us at email@example.com
Finally, we want to thank a woman named Barbara for setting the bar high for donations. Today, Barbara donated 5lbs of produce and 150lbs of canned goods directly to Loaves and Fishes for the “Who Cares?” Food Drive. Now that is an impressive donation. Can you beat it?
Oh and Barbara, we would love to hear from you. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or post a comment on the FB event page here. Your donation and story is and can be an inspiration for all of us.
