Special Episode: “Are you ready to vote?” Part 2: Tips from Poll Clerks

logo-active
With the Presidential primaries just a few weeks away, we wanted to make certain that everyone was ready and able to vote, so we invited a special guest host, my daughter, Laura and recorded a special episode all about who can vote in SC, how to register, absentee voting and more.  We had advice for when you vote and voting in general.

We had so much information, we had to split the show into two parts.

The first part had lots of details from how to register to absentee voting.  In this second part, we call up our multiple years of experience managing voting polls to give you some insight on how to help your voting experience go smoother and be more successful, as well as stressing the importance of voting and how you can really make a difference.

Leap Day, 2016: An extra day to lend a helping hand!

leap day

2016 is a leap year, which means we get an “extra” day: Feb. 29th. Now, I understand that Feb. 29th is not technically “an extra day,” that it’s just a time keeping maneuver to sync our calendar year with the solar year and other sciency-type things, but when for most of us, it’s just an extra day.  Woo Hoo!

We, at Another Voice with Eric and Friends have been thinking about this “extra” day and what we could do with our “extra” day and we’ve come up with something neat. We’re putting the final touches on our idea, so stay tuned and we’ll be announcing something fun and exciting.
