Oct. 13, 2014 Podcast:Taxes, taxes, taxes

On this week’s show, we talked about the one subject that folks don’t like to discuss: taxes

NOWe started the show with Joshua Cook of No Tax Hike and the Palmetto Liberty Caucus making the case for Greenville County voters to vote “NO” on the 1% sales tax increase referendum in November.

We’ve given you the case for a “yes” vote and the case for a “no” vote, now it’s up to you to make an informed decision on Nov. 4th.

Reducing or eliminating the South Carolina income tax and replacing it with a flat tax or a sales tax is a common theme among many candidates vying for office this year, so we invited Rep. Garry Smith to come talk to us about the issue, given his experience in the SC House working on tax reform.  Our interview with Rep. Smith was the second segment on the show today.
